Stop Making Excuses

Please don't get confused between my personality and my attitude. My personality is who l am and my attitude depends on who you are.

I profoundly disagree with this sentiment and interpret it as a copout. Here is why:

You, and you alone, should determine your attitude. To give the power over yourself to another with this excuse is to fail to accept responsibility for you. Besides that? Why give someone else the ability to influence you to that degree?

Grow up! Be the adult in a conflict! Don't let them move you from your position of peace as they rant and rave. Believe me ... this will make a far bigger impression than you childishly matching their dyspeptic mood.

Last of all? Aren't there enough assholes in the world? Why add one more to the mix?
